Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is one of South India's major international gateways, with direct connections to the Middle East, Africa, and neighbouring countries. Aravinda Hospitals is located on NH44—India's longest north–south highway—which links the airport region to the hospital's site near Mahabubnagar.
The hospital's project memorandum describes this as a strategic advantage: accessibility for patients travelling from overseas, particularly from the Middle East, Africa, and neighbouring countries, and the opportunity to participate in Hyderabad's growing medical tourism ecosystem. Clinical capabilities being built under one roof
International patients typically travel for treatments that require a combination of specialists, technology, and inpatient care. Aravinda Hospitals is being planned as exactly that kind of institution:
- Surgical care in a modular operation theatre complex with a Central Sterile Supply Department, serving orthopaedics and joint replacement, neurosurgery, urology, and general and laparoscopic surgery.
- Cardiac care through the cardiology department, with a Cath Lab planned under the mentorship of Dr. C. Raghu, Mentor & Advisor, Cardiology & Structural Heart Program.
- Diagnostics including MRI, CT, digital X-ray, ultrasound and colour Doppler, endoscopy, and a comprehensive laboratory—see imaging and diagnostics.
- Critical care in Intensive Care Units led by dedicated intensivists, with central monitoring.
- Women's and children's health, including obstetrics and gynaecology, labour and delivery suites, and a NICU.
- Oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology and dialysis, pulmonology, ENT, and dermatology, listed on our specialities hub.
Every department is planned to follow evidence-based medicine and internationally accepted clinical protocols, with a hospital information system and digital medical records that make it straightforward to share reports with your doctor at home.
Comfort for patients travelling from abroad
Patients who travel a long way usually stay longer. The hospital's inpatient design includes VIP rooms with a private washroom and a separate seating and sleeping area for a family member, alongside two-sharing rooms. The architectural renders show calm, well-lit spaces with a landscaped courtyard off the outpatient department.
Consultants joining Aravinda Hospitals include nationally and internationally trained specialists, and English is spoken throughout the hospital. Profiles will appear on our doctors page as the team is confirmed.
Our long-term vision, stated honestly
We would rather tell you what is planned than promise what does not yet exist. Today, Aravinda Hospitals is under development. Dedicated international patient services—such as pre-arrival medical opinions, visa assistance letters, airport transfers, interpreters, and accommodation support—are part of the long-term vision described in the hospital's plan, and will be introduced in phases as the hospital opens and matures.
