Our department is being developed around kidney care and dialysis, working alongside urology, general medicine, and critical care to protect kidney function and support patients whose kidneys need help.

Technology & facilities for kidney care
Aravinda Hospitals is being equipped with dialysis units as part of our core infrastructure. Comprehensive laboratory services and advanced laboratory equipment allow kidney function, electrolytes, and urine tests to be reported promptly, while ultrasound with colour Doppler, CT scan, and MRI support imaging of the kidneys and urinary tract.
Patients with acute kidney injury or severe complications will be cared for in our intensive care units, where dialysis can be delivered under central monitoring. A pharmacy and digital medical records help keep long-term dialysis care organised.

What are the early signs of kidney disease?
Kidney disease often has no symptoms at first. Swelling of the feet, foamy urine, tiredness, and raised blood pressure can be signs, and a simple blood and urine test can detect it.
How long does a haemodialysis session take?
A typical session lasts around four hours and is usually needed two to three times a week, as advised by your nephrologist.
Can kidney disease be slowed?
In many people, controlling blood pressure and blood sugar, adjusting medicines, and dietary changes can slow progression.
Will dialysis be available for emergencies?
Yes. Dialysis units and ICU support are planned so that acute kidney injury can be treated on site.
