Insurance, Cashless Treatment & TPA Support

Cashless treatment, ESI, corporate mediclaim, and TPA support planned at Aravinda Hospitals on NH44 near Mahabubnagar. How cashless works and what to bring.

Worrying about paperwork should never delay treatment. At Aravinda Hospitals & Advanced Medical Services, we are planning an insurance and TPA desk that helps you use your health insurance, ESI cover, or corporate mediclaim with as little friction as possible.

Aravinda Hospitals is a developing 300-bed multispecialty hospital on the NH44 corridor, Telangana, near Mahabubnagar. This page explains how cashless treatment works, which types of cover we intend to support, and what documents you will usually need.

Cashless treatment planned at Aravinda Hospitals

Our aim is simple: eligible patients should be able to receive planned and emergency care at Aravinda Hospitals without paying the full bill upfront. To make that possible, the hospital intends to work with:

  • Health insurers and third-party administrators (TPAs) for individual and family health insurance policies.
  • Employers and group insurers for corporate mediclaim and employer-sponsored health cover, particularly for the industries along the NH44 corridor. See corporate health services.
  • ESI, for which the hospital intends to seek empanelment so that covered employees and their dependants can be treated under the scheme.

Our partner network is being onboarded. The list of empanelled insurers, TPAs, and schemes will be published on this page as agreements are confirmed. Until then, please contact us to ask about your specific policy.

How cashless hospitalisation works

Cashless treatment means your insurer or TPA settles the eligible part of your hospital bill directly with the hospital. The general process in India works like this:

  1. Check your cover. Confirm that the hospital is in your insurer's network and that your policy covers the treatment. Your policy document or insurer helpline can tell you.
  2. Pre-authorisation. For planned admissions, the hospital's insurance desk sends a pre-authorisation request to your insurer or TPA, usually a few days before admission. For emergencies, the request is sent as soon as possible after you arrive.
  3. Approval. The insurer or TPA reviews the request and approves an initial amount. Further approvals may be sought during treatment if costs change.
  4. Treatment and discharge. At discharge, the hospital sends the final bill and documents to the insurer. You pay only non-covered items, such as consumables excluded by your policy, co-payments, or amounts above your sum insured.

If cashless approval is not possible, you may be able to pay and claim reimbursement from your insurer afterwards; our desk will help you gather the documents required.

Documents you will usually need

Bring these when you come for a planned admission, or ask a family member to bring them in an emergency:

  • Health insurance card or policy number, or ESI card or number
  • Photo identification (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or driving licence) for the patient and the policyholder
  • Doctor's referral or prescription recommending admission
  • Previous investigation reports and discharge summaries, if any
  • Employer ID or corporate mediclaim card, for employer-sponsored cover

Original documents may be required at discharge. Digital medical records through the hospital information system will help us provide reports and summaries to your insurer promptly.

Support from our insurance and TPA desk

Insurance terms are not always easy to follow. Our insurance and TPA desk will explain what your policy covers, submit and follow up pre-authorisation requests, and coordinate discharge paperwork; a corporate desk will work with employers' HR teams directly. Wherever possible, you will be told about estimated costs and any amounts you may need to pay before treatment begins.
